Free Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Cleaning Products

3 Mar

EDIT: Definitely a profitable venture. My total was around $8.50 and I get the product plus about $12 worth of points. The can easily be redeemed for a variety of $10 gift cards or held on to until you accumulate enough for a higher value card. Good luck!

I hear a lot of whining that this takes too much work, it’s too confusing, or it’s always products you don’t use.

Here’s a new one for you for toilet cleaning products. Or maybe you don’t clean your toilet…?

First of all, you’ll need to join MyPoints. This site is simply a shopping portal like any of the others I’ve talked about. The points earned are generally worth very little with the exception being the crazy OpenSky deal where I got $500 worth of great home products…and stuff like this. Only $10-$12 here, but stick with me. You can join MyPoints just by clicking on the link above, but do me the favor of allowing me to send you a referral. Shoot me a note (thewingtipper@gmail.com) with your first name and initial of your last name and I will get you a referral within 24 hours. I wish I could just post a link here, but it doesn’t work that way with those guys.

Let me also point out that you get double points for the first month or so, so this is worth somewhere between free and $10 to you if you’re new.

Here’s how it works: purchase one qualifying product and earn 1000 points. Purchase two and earn 2000 points.

2000 points can be redeemed for $10 gift cards to a variety of places, to include Safeway and Amazon (each 1700 points). Therefore, we want to spend under $10 to break even here, assuming you cash out and never come back for the remaining unredeemed points.

A quick search on Walmart.com shows that the most expensive of the qualifying products (see below) is around $7. Print the coupon and you’ll save another buck! I clicked and printed twice, so my max total is around $12 and I will receive 2,000 points to break even. If the gel product is cheaper, which I expect it will be, I will definitely get them “at least” for free. If I have a chance tomorrow, I’ll go scan the aisle and get the price info for you. Recall the Pledge promotion was a little money maker on great floor care products.

Make sure you save your receipt and that both products are on the same form. Scan in to the email posted (see below) and wait on your credit to arrive!

Gonna give it a shot?

Trojan’s Annual Valentine’s Day Promotion = $15 Free LivingSocial credit

8 Feb

A similar promotion showed up last year, offering a free Restaurants.com gift card with purchase of Trojan Lubricant. This year’s promotion is for $25 to Living Social with purchase of product. LivingSocial talks about the promotion, Trojan does not. Look around the store and see what’s available.

There’s a $2 coupon available as well.

If you’re on the CVS mailing list, you might have got a 20% off coupon on Thursday. Print it by Sunday.

Here’s how it adds up:

  • Purcase Trojan Lubricant product, $19.99 online price (will check on in store price). Be sure it has the LivingSocial promotion attached; I’ll share a photo as soon as I find it.
  • Use 20% coupon, worth $4 on this item.
  • Use $2 coupon.

Pay $19.99 – 4 – 6 = $9.99.

Receive $25 LivingSocial credit.

That’s free money in my book. Why not?
